Incomes From Perfect Conversations (Copy)
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is now clear where the level of global production and consumption needs to be set to solve the climate change problem. Everybody has noticed how much better the environment is:
The initiative can be seized by recognizing two connected points:
A much cleaner system of mass production and mass consumption can be realized by taking these things out of human hands and putting them under the control of machine intelligence and robots;
The humans who would be displaced from the current system by the conversion to robotics aren’t living meaningful lives. They would be much better employed as professional conversationalists.
Moving the economic system from one that uses humans to produce and consume things of questionable value to one that uses robots to produce and help consume things at the right value makes sense if and only if humans produce and consume right values in their conversations, thus putting the whole economic system into balance.
People need to derive their incomes (and society its wealth) by individuals interacting satisfyingly, and without undue consumerism (and undue pollution), with other individuals. Conversation theory and information technology can make this happen.
